Protect Your Private Data with Folder Security Personal!
Folder Security Personal gives you a pain-free way to lock, hide and password-protect files, folders and drives on PCs and removable devices such as USB drives, memory sticks, CD-RWs, floppies and notebooks. It also allows you to enable or disable the Registry Editor, set-up default sharing drives, and exchange files over your local network - as well as uniquely protecting sensitive information while in Safe Mode.
Unlike other similar programs, Folder Security Personal secures all of your personal data without collecting it into one central folder: instead, it builds a secure virtual perimeter around the information regardless of its location. This can be anything from passwords to credit card numbers to sensitive images - there's really no limit on what FSP can protect! Another advantage of using FSP is that it doesn't modify your hard disk in order to hide folders, and so removes any potential data-loss from occurring.
In addition, Folder Security Personal includes our Proactive Spyware Defense solution, which protects you against having Internet Explorer hijacked. It does this by preventing and repairing any malicious changes made to the program's options - including the Start Page, Default Page URL, Window Title, Search Assistant, Custom Search, Context Menu and others. It also protects core Windows system files from being modified, deleted, or replaced by spyware, adware or viruses, and prevents these pieces of software from installing themselves onto your system - as well as ensuring that no programs are able to run automatically on startup or install device drivers without your consent.
Using Folder Security Personal couldn't be easier, either: if you want to protect a folder, for example, all you have to do is follow these simple steps:
- Start Folder Security Personal
- From the 'Protection Wizard' menu, choose your desired type of protection: No Access & Invisible, No Access & Visible, Read-Only & Visible, Invisible, or Read-Only & Invisible
- Click on the 'Next' button, and then browse to the folder you want to protect
- Click the 'Next' button again, and you're done! All in under 30 seconds!
