This folder encryption software allows you to hide folders and encrypt files with on-the-fly AES encryption. Just create one or more encrypted, secure folders from your local folders, and then move your sensitive files into the specified encrypted folder. They'll then be encrypted/decrypted in real-time.
From then on, just enter your password and use all your files just as you always have: HandyCrypto handles all the encryption functions instantly and transparently behind the scenes for you. You can work with the encrypted files as usual, and when you're done, lock the secure folder to store the files securely and hide the entire folder from view.

Who Can Benefit from Using HandyCrypto?
If you have sensitive data you need to protect, HandyCrypto can hide your files and also encrypt them on-the-fly with 128-bit AES encryption.
How It Works:
The problem with encryption is that it requires you to decrypt each file before you use it, and then re-encrypt it when you're done. To solve this, HandyCrypto intercepts all reads and writes made to your encrypted folders and files and encrypts/decrypts the data instantly! It's so fast, easy and transparent that you'll soon forget you're using encrypted files at all!
On a more technical level, HandyCrypto works by storing all its protected files as encrypted ciphertexts. When an authorized user opens one of these files, the software transparently decrypts what it needs into the system's memory - the actual file remains encrypted. When the user has finished with the file, HandyCrypto encrypts the modifications and replaces the original file with the updated version.
Since the data is only decrypted in the system's memory, attempts to read stored files by using low-level disk tools, booting into other Operating Systems or connecting the hard disk to another computer will only reveal an encrypted text.
